Connection.close() has already been called. Invalid operation in this state (no replies)

Hi all ,

I am using mysql5.0 version as a backend and java as a front end .
While getting the connection from mysql,the following error will pop up in log file.

Connection.close() has already been called. Invalid operation in this state and the sqlstate is 08003.

can any one please help me in this issue .
