.ibd and system restore (1 reply)

Hi,

I'm using an inno db database, on laptop with windows 7 to 10.

I saw that if you restore windows via a restore point, it will restore also the .ibd files. In that case you lose data.

Is ther a way to avoid this restoration from windows on th ibd file.

I ve tried already the registry key nottobackup. And using this feature will avoid restore ibd files, but it will simply delete them instead.

does anybody has a solution to this problem ?
