How to perform mysqldump without a password prompt (1 reply)

Hi,
I am using mysql community versions, to backup databases I am using mysqldump.
But the password is added in the script & configuration file.
Is there any way to configure the password less option for backup user, so I can exclude the passwords from the script and configuration file.
