Add datafile in mysql (1 reply)

Hi,

Recently,I have observed in the datadir folder of mysql there is a file named ibdata1 which is getting bigger day by day,around 30GB which is probably used for storing user data. I don't want to get a single file getting that much big,instead i want to add more file named ibdata2,ibdata3...so on. Is it possible?? How can i do that??
