innodb_file_per_table (no replies)

Hi,

Can I specify the path of innodb_file_per_table for each table?

•Storing specific tables on separate physical disks, for I/O optimization or backup purposes
what does the above mean?

How can I set the path of each *.ibd file? is possible?
