rename table DB1.TAB1 to DB2.TAB2, Databases have to be in one disk partitoion? (4 replies)

Hi ,

if I want to move a innodb table from DB1 TO DB2 by "rename table DB1.TAB1 to DB2.TAB2", do Databases DB1 and DB2 have to be in one physical disk partitoion?
