Recover diskspace after dropping a Database (1 reply)

Hi All,

I have around 15 Databses. Out of which 6 Databases are occupying around 200GB. Though planning to drop the database, but can I have the complete 200GB space recovered without taking any mysqldump and reloading it.

I cannot claim for any huge downtime as the server is in production. Can anyone please suggest the best way to recover max disk space after dropping a database.
