Hello,
I installed MySQL 5.1.48 on Solaris 10 with 32 GB RAM.Then I configured the innodb_buffer_pool_size to 10 GB. To my surprise I noticed that when I started the server it too the 10GB out of the swap rather than out of the RAM (I saw this via the top command).
I assume that something on my machine is configured wrong, but I can't figure out what.
Any suggestions are welcome.
