Hello,
I had a bad day with InnoDB... After a power-off my DB lost 6-days of data, i can not understand why. The server could start correctly, however in log files I found a log sequence error:
It seems that the server starting solved this error, however I cannot find several records. I'm sure these records were written because I have an evening backup with all data. Mysql could start and saved all new data correctly with a 6-day gap.
My question is: is it normal the starting without an "error" but just a "note" in log? How may I have lost 6 days (maybe 200/300 records) of data (I'm sure during these 6 days many shutdowns were completed correctly)? Is there any
advice to prevent this kind of problems?
Thank you.
