Hello GUys,
We are using telecom billing with MSYQl as back end. We have been using it for almost 6 years.
It is 41GB with InnoDB structure. There is only one big file ibdata1.
It is running on freebsd server with version as FreebSD6.1
Mysql Version: 5.0.51a.
We want to dump and export the data to freeup the space. We also want to use data file for each and every table.
We have connected USB drive to server and formated it to ufs/ext3 and NTFS. But whenever dump is carried, dumped file was only 7.8 GB. All the tables were dumped, but number of records were not matched before and after. We have few tables of 2.5 to 3 GB.
Can anyone help how to dump this large DB?
Are there any tools to verify the data before dump and after export to new server?
Thanks and waiting for yor answer.
